Main Objectives of this position:Actual implementation of improvement measures during vessel calls onsite.Active improvement program management and operational supplier managementDirect communications with terminal management to define and apply corrective actions immediately and ensure feedback of impact measures and lessons learned towards Area / Regional Operations and Terminal Control TowerContribute to continuous improvement process2. Function and duties:Tasks Monitor Implementation of improvement measures during pre and after berthingMonitor and ensure vessel arrival, berthing process within target duration on site.Discuss deviations and quick fixes with Terminal (real time)Identify further improvement measures and ensure transfer of ideas towards Area / Regional Operations Management and Terminal Control TowerMonitor implementation of improvement measures during terminal operationsMonitor and ensure crane availability and performance align with expectations (stowage provided)Discuss deviations and quick fixes with Terminal (real time)Identify further improvement measures and ensure transfer of ideas towards Area / Regional Management and Terminal control towerConduct regular reviews of overall action plan terminal partnering projectsDiscuss implementation of improvement measures with Terminal Management consolidatedly, based on actual experience and feedback Terminal Control TowerEnsure definition and implementation of corrective measures with terminal operations in case of uncorrected discrepanciesProvide feedback frequent interaction towards Area / Regional Operations Management and Terminal Control TowerEnsure that measures with internal responsibility are being transferred into HL organizationIdentify opportunities for schedule / vessel space optimization (additional empties or full units)Plan and decide on loading of additional units in direct alignment with terminals and internal stakeholders (eg. Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:Vessel and / or terminal planning with at least 5 years ' experience in sameTo be available onsite during actual vessel call to oversee measure implementationGood command of written and spoken English and MandarinTo be able to work under pressure
