Job Summary
* To provide an effective and efficient service to the organization with respect to employee relations, OH&S and Financial matters
* This job deion in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities & Tasks – Human resources
? Provide assistance and advice to line management
? Monitor and ensure all industrial awards, agreements, legislation and Company policies in the area of Human resources are adhered to.
? Handle employee relations issues such as counseling and performance.
? Liaise with external legal bodies for advice and clarification.
? Liaise with outsource company with relation to payroll matters, new employee details, terminations and interpretation of Payroll rules.
? Assist with the recruitment process, liaising with line management and external agencies and prepare online advertising for position vacancies using 51jobs.com
? Assist in the preparation of employment contracts for new employees and co-ordinate pre-employment testing and other documentation as required i.e. New starter pack documents need to be completed
? Prepare and conduct induction programs for new employees as required
? Conduct exit interviews as required
? Assist in the review and development needs for the site
? Project work as directed by HR & OHS Manager and Global HR.
? Maintain or ensure the maintenance of up-to-date position deions are kept for all positions
? May need to counsel employees on problems affecting work performance. May assist employees to deal with situation relating to bereavement leave or other special circumstances with the support of line managers
? Assist with employee satisfaction survey rollout
? Following Global HR activity cycle plan
? Assist line managers with performance management and assessment
Responsibility & Tasks – OH&S
? Assist with enforcing the Occupational Health Safety program and help develop and implement OH&S strategies along with the support of line managers
? Review safety issues with line managers support and recommend solutions to hazards
? Assist in site safety inspections, audits and accident investigations and report findings to management
? Manage workers compensation and advise line managers on workers’ compensation programs
Finance
? Assist with cashier/finance work as instructed by the Analytical Controller, Administrator
Requirements
? Fluent in Chinese and English
? Knowledge and understanding of local Industrial relations and OH&S legislation
? Good writing skills in both Chinese and English
? Understanding of the implications of policies and procedures
? Experience in HR relations
? HR Key Performance Indicators
? Completing tasks as per HR Activity Cycle in a timely manner
? Monitor line managers with performance management system implementation
? Follow through employee survey action items
? Safety Key Performance Indicators
? Support and advise line managers with safety issues
? Report all safety hazards observed. If capable, correct the safety hazard identified.
